Description:
The scope was to manufacture a complex concertina storage rack system for large stock sheets of glass. The rack consists of a number of rolling interlocking frames that run on rails. The user selects the rack they needed with a lever, then roll the rest of the racks away using a crank handle. This allows a greater volume of stock to be stored in a smaller area, saving valuable floor space for the client, while access to the stock remains quick and convenient.

Challenges:
To create a sturdy, functional racking system that was technically accurate and well built. The end result looks fantastic and makes storing glass easy!
